Dr. Rami Layous, Chiropractor
Dr. Rami Layous earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from the University of Western States. Already having a medical background in dentistry and sleep studies, he became interested in the chiropractic profession after suffering a debilitating car accident, which caused pain and limitation of his daily activities. He experienced firsthand the benefits of chiropractic treatment in restoring his ability to be active and do the things he enjoys.
Utilizing a holistic and comprehensive approach, Dr. Rami includes manual and instrument-assisted techniques, in both joint and soft-tissue manipulation. He uses physio modalities and massage, such as Trigger Point Therapy and pin and stretch, to accelerate the healing process. Dr. Rami believes that every human body responds to treatment differently, therefore, he is dedicated to thorough examinations, from which he is able to tailor a treatment that provides the best results as quickly as possible. He also works with his patients on rehabilitation, to help ensure the best long-term outcome.
Dr. Rami has teamed with chiropractic missions in providing free care to underprivileged populations and is constantly expanding his knowledge and improving his skills by keeping up with the latest literature, and attending seminars and workshops.
Dr. Rami Layous has been in Portland, Oregon since 2005 and loves the Great Northwest. He enjoys hiking, biking, and photography.

Hannah Grice, LAc
Hannah Grice is no stranger to the healthcare field. Before starting graduate school at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) 5 years ago, she worked for 13 years in various health care environments. Some of these include hospitals, community centers, and private in-home health care settings. She has also received multiple certifications and trainings over the years, such as: CNA nursing assistant; lifeguard; in home nurse; EMT; caregiver; and, most recently, a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) and licensure as an acupuncturist in the state of Oregon. Her very diverse background and personal experience has provided a strong foundation for delivering excellent patient-centered care as a practitioner, and developing skills as a “forever student” of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Passionate about helping and caring for others, she will provide compassionate and personalized consultations and treatments to help individuals take an active role in their unique health care journey. She offers a wide range of services, including acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Quantum shiatsu, gua sha, cupping, qi gong, nutrition and mindfulness techniques all catered to the unique needs of each patient. Come experience a one of a kind acupuncture treatment for yourself.
Hannah is originally from a small farming town in Virginia and moved to the Pacific North West for graduate school in 2015 with her husband, two friends and their dog. She completed her undergraduate studies in Health Sciences at James Madison University in 2013 where she branched out from studying only western medicine and discovered her passion for Chinese medicine. In addition to attending OCOM, she did work study as a student in OCOM’s Herbal Medicinary obtaining in-depth knowledge of the world of Chinese herbalism. After graduating from her master’s program in August 2019, passing 4 board exams, and getting licensed she decided to go to Nepal to provide acupuncture and medical care to communities in need. Her Nepal journey was cut short due to the emerging pandemic, but her time with the Acupuncture Relief Project and Good Health Nepal were life changing. In her spare time, besides itching to get back to Nepal, she enjoys being outside playing in the garden, going to the coast, and hiking with her dog “Angel”.
